Terms of Service
Last updated · 21 August 2026 · Beta
These terms govern the MerchPPC Chrome extension and the merchppc.com website ("the service"). Installing the extension or creating an account means you accept them. They are written to be read — the short version of every clause is that you stay in charge of your Amazon account, and we are honest about what beta software is.
1 · What the service is
MerchPPC is a Chrome extension that reads your Amazon Merch on Demand and Amazon Advertising data into a database inside your own browser, and gives you dashboards, analysis, automation (Lookouts) and AI-assistant connectors on top of it. The website handles accounts, assistant integrations and plans. The service is in beta: features may change, appear or be withdrawn as it matures.
2 · Your Amazon account is yours
- The extension acts in your browser, under your Amazon session, at your direction. You must have the right to access the Amazon accounts you use it with.
- Every change the service prepares — a bid, a budget, a negative, a campaign, a price — is staged in the Publish queue and reaches Amazon only after you approve it. Approving a change is your decision and your responsibility, exactly as if you had made it in Amazon's own console.
- You are responsible for your own compliance with Amazon's terms of service. MerchPPC reads what your session can already read and automates what you approve, but Amazon's rules for your account remain between you and Amazon.
3 · Your data is yours
The database the extension builds lives in your browser and belongs to you. We claim no rights over your designs, listings, sales or advertising data. Because we hold no copy, we also cannot restore one: keeping the browser profile — or accepting a slow re-sync from Amazon — is your side of the local-first trade. You are responsible for the browser profile, the device, and the Amazon session the extension acts under.
4 · The open beta, and what comes after it
MerchPPC is in open beta. Every capability is available to every account at no charge, there is no plan to choose and no payment method on file. A beta account is not a trial: nothing is counting down and nothing converts into a charge. Capability access is enforced per account as described on the pricing page, and a suspended installation is not automatically deleted.
Paid plans have not been priced and checkout is not open. When plans arrive you will be given notice before anything changes, and the capabilities named as permanently free on the pricing page remain available regardless. If a paid plan is later active, cancellation keeps access through the paid-through date, while refunds, chargebacks, security revocation, or payment failure may remove access according to the subscription state.
5 · Accounts and acceptable use
- One account per person; keep access to your sign-in email secure. Connected browsers and assistant grants are managed from your account page.
- Do not probe, overload or reverse the service's servers, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, scrape member or admin areas, resell access, or use the assistant relay as a scraping proxy. Quotas — such as assistant call limits — are part of the service.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to harm other users' data or ours.
6 · AI connectors
Claude and ChatGPT are third-party services under their own terms; connecting one is your choice, and it requires your own account with that provider. MerchPPC does not include or resell those subscriptions. A grant is scoped — read-only, or read + propose — and anything an assistant proposes waits in your Publish queue like everything else.
The tool catalog exposes no SQL, no arbitrary browser control, no arbitrary HTTP, and no Amazon cookies or credentials. The propose scope can stage exactly three kinds of Amazon Ads change — lowering one advertising target's bid, lowering one campaign's daily budget, and adding one negative keyword — all of which only ever decrease spend. Raising bids or budgets, pausing or creating campaigns, and changing prices or listings are not available to assistants at all. Assistant output is analysis, not instruction: verify it against your own data before approving anything it staged.
7 · No guaranteed results
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It is decision support, not financial advice: verdicts like break-even ACoS are computed from the data Amazon serves, which is delayed, windowed and sometimes revised.
MerchPPC does not guarantee royalties, sales, profit, ad performance, ACoS, TACoS, ranking, organic growth, account growth, account safety, approval, or return on ad spend. Results depend on product quality, buyer demand, listing fit, pricing, royalties, bids, competition, seasonality, Amazon Ads behaviour, platform changes, account history, execution, and other factors outside MerchPPC's control.
You are responsible for decisions made in your own Amazon Merch on Demand, Amazon Ads, and related business accounts. Before acting, verify important details inside your own account and consider your own margins, risk tolerance, budget, products, platform obligations, and business goals.
8 · Amazon and platform changes
MerchPPC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. Amazon Merch on Demand, Amazon Ads, and the assistant providers may change policies, interfaces, fees, reports, data, rules, eligibility, enforcement, or availability at any time — and when they do, parts of the service may stop working until it catches up.
Where the service discusses trademarks, copyright, content safety or account risk, it does so in general terms. It is not legal clearance and not legal advice; perform your own checks and consult qualified counsel when you need it.
9 · Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, MerchPPC is not liable for indirect or consequential damage — lost profits, lost royalties, wasted ad spend, account actions Amazon takes, platform enforcement, business interruption, or data loss — arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, which during the free beta is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10 · Ending things
You can stop at any time: uninstall the extension, revoke your grants, delete the account. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms, with notice where practical. Your local database is untouched by any of it — it is in your browser, not ours.
11 · Intellectual property
The extension, the website, their code and design, and the MerchPPC name are ours. Your data and your designs are yours, as §3 says. You may not republish, resell, redistribute, scrape, copy into another product, or present MerchPPC materials as your own without permission. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the service without obligation.
12 · Privacy
Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which lists every store of personal data this website holds, why it exists, and how long it is kept.
13 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes are announced to signed-in users before they take effect, and this page carries the date above.
