COMPARISON · MERCHPPC VS PRETTYMERCH

PrettyMerch shows your ad spend. MerchPPC tells you what to do about it.

PrettyMerch is one of the most popular Merch tools, with sales analytics, research and mobile apps, and it now shows your ad spend. MerchPPC goes further on ads: it judges every target against what the product earns and stages the fix for your approval.

What is sent to Amazon today. Of the changes described here, MerchPPC sends the kinds it has confirmed against Amazon: a target's bid, a campaign's budget, a negative keyword and a new Auto campaign. Not sent yet: an ad group's default bid; a campaign's placement adjustments; a campaign's bid strategy; a campaign's audience bid adjustments; pausing or enabling a target, an ad, an ad group or a campaign; a negative product; removing a negative keyword; removing a negative product; promoting a search term to a keyword; adding a product target; adding a product to an ad group; adding products to a new ad group; a new manual campaign; a new Sponsored Brands campaign; one Auto campaign per product from a selection; splitting a campaign; a Sponsored Brands keyword's bid; a Sponsored Brands target's bid; a Sponsored Brands theme's bid; pausing or enabling a Sponsored Brands campaign, ad group or ad; a Sponsored Brands negative keyword; a Sponsored Brands negative product; a price change; adding a missing product; republishing a product; deleting a product. The extension shows those as “Not available yet” and holds them back until each one is confirmed.

What you get with MerchPPC

Built for the ads side of Merch.

Break-even on every target

Each product's own royalty sets the ceiling, so an ACoS number finally means something.

Down to the search term

Six flat lists, from campaigns to the words shoppers typed, with spend beside royalty.

Lookouts that watch

Rules that check every sync and propose a lower bid or a negative, with the evidence.

Nothing without your OK

Bids, budgets, negatives and Auto campaigns wait in one queue until you approve them.

To be fair

Where PrettyMerch is the better fit.

  • You want research, trademark search and an AI listing writer in the same subscription.
  • You check sales on your phone: PrettyMerch has Android and iOS apps.
  • You want realtime sale alerts and a Royalty Group tracker from a tool with a very large user base.
  • You only need to see ad spend, not change bids, budgets or negatives.

Many sellers will keep PrettyMerch for research and their phone, and add MerchPPC for the ads console and the changes. Both read your data in your own browser.

Questions

Questions, answered.

Does PrettyMerch show Amazon Ads data?

Yes. Its newer versions sync ad spend, ad sales and orders and show spend per product. MerchPPC adds the full console down to search terms, break-even ACoS per product, and staged changes.

Can I use both?

Yes. They are separate Chrome extensions that each read your own data. There is nothing to migrate.

Which one has research tools?

PrettyMerch. MerchPPC does not do niche research or trademark checks, and does not plan to pretend otherwise.

Does MerchPPC change my ads automatically?

No. Every change is staged in the Publish queue and only reaches Amazon after you approve it.

PrettyMerch facts checked against its public pages in October 2026. Products change: if something here is out of date, tell us and we will fix it. PrettyMerch is a trademark of its owner; MerchPPC is not affiliated with it.
