Settings

Sync pace, sales history depth, delivery postcodes, product images, desktop alerts, and the lists the Create page remembers — all in the extension, on this browser.

Settings live in the extension sidebar, not on this website. They apply to this browser profile's database and notifications. Another computer does not inherit them.

General

Automatic sync sets how often the background lanes wake while Chrome is open:

  • Automatic — the product's own floors (sales about every minute, listings about every five minutes, advertising about every hour).
  • A slower floor — fifteen minutes through eight hours — that only slows those baselines. It never makes a lane fetch faster than Automatic.
  • Manual only — nothing runs until you ask. The dashboard shows that state so a quiet screen is not mistaken for a healthy one.

Sales history caps how far back the first sales pass reaches: lifetime, or four / two / one years. Shorter horizons finish the first sync sooner; they do not invent days Amazon no longer serves.

Delivery lets you set the postcode each marketplace uses for retail price, rank and review reads (with a sensible default per market when you leave it alone).

Product images chooses what Catalog and Overview thumbs prefer: Automatic (artwork for designs, garment mockups for products), Artwork only, or Product mockups. Dark artwork can look black on a dark UI; mockup mode is the standing escape hatch. There is no darkness detector.

Privacy mode blanks money figures on screen when you need to share the window. Mute and quiet hours on Notifications do not turn this on for you — it is its own switch.

Notifications (Desktop alerts)

Each event can show a desktop banner. Only two carry a sound today — a cash-register chime for a sale, and an optional sound when a batch finishes. Returns, publish outcomes, sync stops and Lookout proposals can notify without ringing.

Quiet hours and mute silence banners (and sounds) for the window you set. They deliberately do not hide an optional sales count in the browser tab title — that counter is opt-in and stays visible so a muted laptop can still show that today moved.

Ads

Which advertising accounts the dashboard includes. If none are listed, use Find accounts from that empty state after you are signed into Amazon Advertising in this browser.

Create

Defaults for the Create page (switches first), plus Setups and Allowed terms you have saved. Restoring Settings preferences does not wipe those managed lists — the page says so under Restore. How create sits on Merch's own page is in Creating on Merch.
